weight: approx. 0.6kg
A classic bread combining bread wheat flour and rye flour, with a slightly sour taste and a crispy crust. Thanks to the use of natural sourdough, this bread is characterized by moist and springy flesh that stays fresh for a long time. Perfect for everyday use as a base for sausage and cheese sandwiches or spread with a thick layer of butter and sprinkled with salt. A real taste of childhood 😊
Suggested Application:
· Classic sandwich with butter, honey and slices of mature cheese: Spread a thin layer of butter on a slice of bread, add a little honey for sweetness and arrange slices of mature cheese. This combination of flavors – salty, sweet and slightly sour – will satisfy every palate.
· Toast with avocado, tomato and a pinch of sea salt: Place ripe avocado slices on toasted slice of bread, add fresh tomato slices and sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt. It’s a light and healthy option, full of vitamins and healthy fats.
· Egg paste and chive toast: Make the egg paste by mixing the hard-boiled eggs with the mayonnaise and mustard. Spread the paste on the baked slice of bread and sprinkle with fresh chives. A classic combination that never goes out of style.

How to store artisanal bread to keep it fresh?
Artisanal wheat-rye bread requires proper storage so that it does not lose its crunchiness and does not dry out too quickly. Here are the best ways to store bread to keep it fresh longer:
1. Linen or cotton cloth – natural protection
Bread wrapped in a linen or cotton cloth “breathes” well, which reduces the risk of mold. This keeps the skin crispy and the inside soft. Remember to let the bread cool down completely before wrapping, as warm bread promotes mold growth.
2. Wooden or ceramic breadbox – a proven option
A wooden or ceramic breadbox absorbs excess moisture, which protects the bread from drying out and molding. It is important to place the breadbox in a place with a moderate temperature, away from heat sources and sunlight
3. Paper bag – a better alternative to plastic
A paper bag is better than plastic because it allows for adequate air circulation, preventing excessive moisture buildup. This type of storage will help keep the bread fresh for longer, especially when combined with a breadbox.
4. Freezing – the perfect solution for longer
If you don’t eat bread in a few days, freezing is an excellent option. Cut the bread into slices, place in an airtight bag and freeze.
When you need fresh bread, take out a few slices, wait a while or heat in the oven – the taste and texture will remain the same as freshly baked bread.
5. Avoid storing bread in the fridge!
The refrigerator is the worst place to store bread. Low temperature causes the starch in bread to crystallize faster, which makes the bread dry and hard faster.
Proper storage of artisan bread will keep it fresh for longer!
