The founders of DESEO Patisserie & Chocolaterie are Łukasz Smoliński and Natalia Sitarska, a couple of travelers who have been running the most popular travel and culinary blog in Poland Tasteaway for many years.

During their culinary travels around Europe and the world, Natalia and Łukasz fell in love with petit gateau desserts and modern confectionery. That is why in 2015 they decided to open their own confectionery in Warsaw. Currently, there are already eleven outlets under the DESEO brand throughout Poland. The main workshop is located at 3 Suwak Street – this is where we produce all desserts, ice cream, bean-to-bar chocolates and nut pastes. We also run chocolate workshops for children here.

The name of the confectionery comes from Spanish and means desire, dream. DESEO is therefore the fulfillment of the dream of having your own confectionery, and for the guests – we hope – the fulfillment of the dream of delicious, highest quality and beautiful desserts.

Of course, all this would not have been possible without a well-coordinated and committed team: both confectioners and service members who take care of the guests of our confectioneries every day.

The President of the Management Board, and at the same time known to almost all DESEO Fans, the funny "CEO from Facebook". He is responsible for the strategy and development of the company, creates a vision of the future, and develops DESEO in every field.
For over 10 years he has been associated with the advertising market - he has worked both on the side of international network agencies (McCann Ericson) and on the client side (tp, Orange). He managed the andmore capital group, which included agencies specializing in various areas of marketing communication. Member of the jury of advertising competitions.
Since 2012, together with his Partners, he has been running Bubblejoy - a network of tea labs with Taiwanese bubble tea. They were the first to introduce bubble tea to Polish.
Since 2013, together with Natalia, they have been running one of the most popular travel and culinary blogs, Tasteaway.pl. A traveler, a fan of good food and extreme culinary experiences, dad of Maks and Jagoda. At DESEO, he prefers Coco, Summer, pistachio ice cream, roasted butter ice cream or gorgonzola with pear.

Insight Manager and Executive Director. He makes sure that DESEO's offer never gets boring. :) He is constantly thinking about new flavors and looking for inspiration all over the world :)
A sociologist by education and... Journalist, market researcher by profession. For over 12 years she has been associated with the social and marketing research market - first at TNS OBOP (TNS Polska), then for over 8 years co-owner of the brainlab strategic and research agency.
Since 2013, together with Łukasz, he has been running one of the most popular travel and culinary blogs in Poland - Tasteaway.pl. They systematically cooperate with brands and entities promoting foreign regions in Poland.
Privately, she is a fan of chocolate, good pizza, fried calamari, in love with the Basque Country and Madrid, fascinated by Japan. Mother of Maks and Jagoda. Favorite sweets? There are quite a few of them! From mango sticky rice to kanelbulle to Key Lime Pie!

  • I've finally come here! Okay, I was once in Saska Kępa in Warsaw for matcha green tea ice cream, but only now have I tried petit gateau cookies, which they specialize in. Anyway, I feel that being at Hala Gwardii, more than once or twice I will be tempted by a cake from DESEO. And I encourage you to do the same.

  • If you know Deseo from Angorska, you surely already share my excitement. If not (which I actually doubt, but let it be) – be sure to go to 5/7 Burakowska Street. A beautiful interior and quite a large garden await you there. It's homely and atmospheric, just right that you want to sit forever. There is the best ice cream in town (today we played salted caramel, chocolate and insane pistachio). There are desserts that can't be described as cakes, because every time I have the impression that I'm eating a work of art and in principle it should be punishable. There are teas, coffees, there is the nicest lady in the world (with a reserve of patience with children, which is important!)

  • The DESEO confectionery fascinates me, even intrigues me. Masterfully made biscuits are a little intimidating. Each time they turn on the stop, which tells them to say the appropriate prayers first. All these wonders are hard to believe, but they are made by hand, only from natural ingredients and natural dyes: there are lemongrass, raspberries, thyme and basil, as well as green pepper, lime or even jalapeno peppers.
