Nicaragua 70% chocolate has a distinctly chocolate flavor with noticeable notes of dried fruit and a slightly nutty aftertaste. The combination of the pleasant aroma of Nicaragua with the crunchy crushed cocoa beans, a popular superfood, is a guarantee of an amazing experience both in terms of taste and texture.

Nicaragua 70% chocolate with crushed cocoa beans has been awarded twice by the jury of the prestigious International Chocolate Awards, whose main goal is to support companies specializing in the creation of high-quality chocolate products. In the “Savoury chocolates with filling or inclusions” category, our chocolate received a silver medal in 2022, and a bronze medal in 2024 ! The International Chocolate Awards have been presented since 2012 and the jury is made up of independent bean-to-bar chocolate specialists in the UK, USA and Italy.

For production, we use cocoa beans, which we import from plantations of our choice from all over the world. Each bar of DESEO Single Origin chocolate is made from cocoa beans from only one specific plantation.

To bring out the full flavour of our chocolate, close your eyes and smell it. Break off the piece and place it on your tongue, but don’t chew it off. Allow the chocolate to melt slowly. This will allow you to see all the nuances. Think about what flavor notes you can smell.
