During the workshop, kids not only have the opportunity to taste kraft chocolate made in our Studio from seed to bar, but also learn how chocolate is made, how and where cocoa is grown and why…. chocolate is a salad! 🙂 Kids will try, taste, create, package and have fun! 🙂

What do we do during the workshop?

• learning how bean-to-bar chocolate is made, that is, from cocoa bean to bar
• stories about cocoa cultivation and cocoa plantations, along with photos from plantations in Mexico, Costa Rica and Guatemala, which were personally visited by DESEO Owners
• trying different types of chocolates – not only milk or dry chocolate, but also our own chocolates – we can’t hint at which ones, because one of the children’s tasks will be to guess what they taste like 🙂
• learning about the differences between white chocolate, milk chocolate and dry chocolate
• learning what a sharpener is and its role in making chocolate
• Creating your own bean-to-bar chocolate with toppings of your child’s choice
• Decorating chocolate – every Child’s favorite task 🙂
• creation of own bean-to-bar chocolate decorated in author’s chocolate escapes – according to Child’s idea and invention
• packing chocolates in a similar way to the way we pack them at DESEO every day

What does each of our Participants get?

1. samples of different types of chocolate to eat on the spot
2. chocolate bars – such as we produce at DESEO – one of the bars is a bar decorated by the child with various inclusions (additions), the other is chocolate flores – both chocolates will be professionally packaged – they can be a souvenir or a gift for loved ones

Duration: 1.5 hours
Price: PLN 125 per child
Minimum age of participant: 5 years
Maximum age: depending on the child – Classes are open to all children 🙂
We are also planning a Chocolate Workshop for adults – more information will be available soon 🙂

By definition, children participate in classes alone 🙂 For younger children, classes together with parents are coming soon!

*Note: the minimum group for a given date is 5 people, the maximum is 12 people.

* We reserve the right to cancel the workshop and propose another date if a group of at least 5 children in the case of DESEO Kids workshops and a minimum of 3 pairs Adult + Child in the case of DESEO Babies does not gather for a given time.

Where does the chocolate workshop take place?

All chocolate workshops are held in Our showroom at 3 Suwak Street in Warsaw’s Mokotow district . This is where our Workshop is located, so in addition, children can see our confectioners at work through the glass. The restaurant on Suwak also has a rather travel-like character – you can see jute bags in which cocoa beans arrive (and coffees as well!), and the bar is located in a large container – just like products from India, Madagascar or the Dominican Republic arrive in Europe. But we will tell you about it during the workshops! 🙂

NOTE: Once you purchase a workshop for a specific date, it is not possible to postpone your Child’s participation to another date. However, you can transfer / resell the ticket to another Child 🙂

IMPORTANT! We will ask you to arrive 15 minutes before the workshop start time. Before the workshops, the kids change into coats, wash their hands, take their seats 🙂 These extra minutes are needed to organize our time together 🙂
