CHOCOLATE WORKSHOP – BIRTHDAY

Plan a special birthday for your Child! 😊 During the birthday chocolate workshop Kids learn a lot about chocolate, try different kinds (total debauchery!) and of course create their own chocolate bars! After that, the cake rolls in and it’s time to celebrate together!

During the birthday chocolate workshop kids have the opportunity not only to taste kraft chocolate made in our Workshop from seed to bar, but also to learn how chocolate is made, how and where cocoa is grown and why…. chocolate is a salad!!! 🙂 Kids will taste, taste, create, package and have fun!!! 🙂

What do we do during the birthday workshop?

• learning how bean-to-bar chocolate is made, that is, from cocoa bean to bar
• stories about cocoa cultivation and cocoa plantations, along with photos from plantations in Mexico, Costa Rica and Guatemala, which were personally visited by DESEO Owners
• trying different types of chocolates – not only milk or dry chocolate, but also our own chocolates – we can’t hint at which ones, because one of the children’s tasks will be to guess what they taste like 🙂
• learning about the differences between white chocolate, milk chocolate and dry chocolate
• learning what a sharpener is and its role in making chocolate
• Creating your own bean-to-bar chocolate with your Child’s choice of toppings is the best fun! 😊 Yes, you can add jelly beans to the chocolate! All tricks allowed!
• Decorating chocolate – every Child’s favorite task 🙂
• creation of own bean-to-bar chocolate decorated in author’s chocolate escapes – according to Child’s idea and invention
• packing chocolates in a similar way to the way we pack them at DESEO every day
• Birthday celebration with the Guests, cake and candle blowing

What does each of our Participants get?

• samples of different types of chocolate to eat on the spot
• 2 bars of chocolate – such as we produce at DESEO – one of the bars is a bar decorated by the Child with various inclusions (additives), the other is a chocolate es fresco – both chocolates will be professionally packaged – they can be a souvenir or a gift for the loved ones

Birthday duration: 2 – 2.5 hours

Chocolate workshops usually take us about 1.5 hours. Then the cake comes in 😊 It depends on the strength and energy of the Kids how much more time they want to spend with us 😊 We always plan birthday parties at 4:30 pm, so there are no more birthdays or workshops afterwards. You can celebrate as much as you want!

Price: £125 per child
Minimum age of the Jeweler: 5 years old

Minimum age of Participants: 4 – 5 years old- children must be independent enough to participate in the workshop and create on their own under the guidance of the Instructor (without a Parent)

Maximum age of the birthday boy: depending on the child – Classes are open to all children 🙂
*Please note that the minimum number of guests is 6 people, the maximum number of guests is 15 people.

Where does the birthday chocolate workshop take place?

All chocolate workshops, including birthday workshops, are held at the Our showroom at 3 Suwak Street in Warsaw’s Mokotow district . This is where our Studio is located, so additionally children can see through the glass at work our Confectioners. The place on the Suwak has additionally quite a travel character – you can see the jute bags in which the cocoa beans arrive to us (and coffee too!), and the bar is located in a large container – the same as the products arrive to Europe from, for example, India, Madagascar or the Dominican Republic. But we’ll tell you more about it during the workshop! 🙂

Parking:

We have a parking lot right next to the premises – the barrier opens with the DESEO password.

IMPORTANT! We will ask you to arrive 15 minutes before the birthday start time. Before the workshops, the kids change into coats, wash their hands, take their seats 🙂 These extra minutes are needed to organize our time 🙂 together well
