This time we invite you to a UNIQUE CHOCOLATE WORKSHOP! We organize Christmas Workshops only a few times a year, so… Don’t hesitate!

During the Christmas Chocolate Workshops, kids have the opportunity not only to try craft chocolate made in our Workshop from bean to bar, learn how chocolate is made, how and where cocoa is grown, but they will also create CHRISTMAS SWEETS! During the workshops, they will prepare their own chocolate – ATTENTION! In the shape of a CHRISTMAS TREE! And then decorate the Santa Cap cake, which you will be able to buy at DESEO for Christmas!

Kids will try, taste, create, create and have a great time!

 

What do we do during the CHRISTMAS Chocolate Workshops?

• For starters, learn how bean-to-bar chocolate is made, that is, from cocoa bean to bar
• stories about cocoa cultivation and cocoa plantations, along with photos from plantations in Mexico, Costa Rica and Guatemala that DESEO’s Owners have personally visited – yes, we’ll be tasting cocoa beans, too!
• trying different types of chocolate – not only milk or dry chocolate, but also our own chocolates – we won’t say which ones, it’s up to the kids to guess the flavors! Apparently, one raises very extreme opinions!
• learning about the differences between white chocolate, milk chocolate and dry chocolate
• learning what a sharpener is and its role in making chocolates
• creating CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATE according to your own idea!
• decorating chocolate with Christmas accessories – every child’s favorite task! There will be multi-coloured Christmas sprinkles – stars, snowballs, Christmas trees, pearls, Christmas jelly beans, marshmallows and pretzels.
• Wrapping chocolates in Christmas packaging – it can turn out to be the perfect edible gift
• decorating Christmas MONOPORTIONS – SANTA CAP! Santa Cap have been with us since 2016! Santa Cap Cookie is our Christmas bestseller. This adorable Santa hat contains milk chocolate mousse, cinnamon caramel, jelly with fresh pear, crunchy hazelnut crisp and sponge cake with pieces of giandui and pear in syrup.

How will children decorate them? Children will first glue coconut flakes on the previously prepared hoop and pompom, and then glue decorations to the cookie so that it will create a one-of-a-kind SANTA HAT!

 

What does each of our Participants get?

1. samples of different types of chocolate to eat on the spot
2. a bean-to-bar chocolate bar in the shape of a CHRISTMAS TREE decorated with Christmas accessories – you can eat it, you can give it wrapped to someone close to you as a gift!
3. Santa Cap Christmas cookie. To eat or as a gift for your loved ones!

Price: PLN 125 per child
Minimum age of participant: 5 years Maximum
age: depending on the child – The classes are open to all children 🙂

By definition, children participate in classes alone 🙂

Where does the chocolate workshop take place?

All chocolate workshops are held in Our showroom at 3 Suwak Street in Warsaw’s Mokotow district . This is where our Studio is located, so additionally children can see through the glass at work our Confectioners. The place on the Suwak has additionally quite a travel character – you can see the jute bags in which the cocoa beans arrive to us (and coffee too!), and the bar is located in a large container – the same as the products arrive to Europe from, for example, India, Madagascar or the Dominican Republic. But we’ll tell you more about it during the workshop! 🙂

*Note: the minimum group for a given date is 5 people, the maximum is 12 people.

* for organized / birthday groups, the minimum group is 8 people

NOTE: After purchasing a workshop for a specific date, it is not possible to postpone the child’s participation to another date. However, you can transfer/resell the ticket to another child 🙂

IMPORTANT! We will ask you to arrive 15 minutes before the workshop start time. Before the workshops, the kids change into coats, wash their hands, take their seats 🙂 These extra minutes are needed to organize our time 🙂 together well
