Chocolate Workshops on the occasion of Grandmother’s and Grandfather’s Day

Chocolate workshops on the occasion of Grandmother’s and Grandfather’s Day are the perfect gift for Grandparents on the occasion of their holiday! The time spent together is priceless, and participating in the workshops together with your grandchildren is a beautiful memory! 😊 We invite children with Grandma or Grandpa or both to a unique chocolate workshop, which we will conduct only on one weekend on January 25-26 at the premises at 3 Suwak Street in Warsaw!

During the workshops, kids and their grandparents have the opportunity not only to try craft chocolate produced in our Workshop from bean to bar, but also to learn how chocolate is made, how and where cocoa is grown and why. Chocolate is a salad! 🙂 A great idea to spend time together! 🙂 You will try, taste, create, pack and have a great time together! 🙂

What do we do during chocolate workshops on the occasion of Grandmother’s and Grandfather’s Day?

• We learn how bean-to-bar chocolate is made, that is, from cocoa bean to bar
• We show where chocolate comes from – we see photos from cocoa plantations – especially those visited by Natalia and Łukasz, the owners of DESEO, in Mexico, Costa Rica or Guatemala
• We try different types of chocolate – not only milk or dry, but also our own chocolates – we can’t tell them which ones, because one of the children’s tasks will be to guess what their taste 🙂
• We learn the differences between white chocolate, milk chocolate and dry chocolate
• We learn what a sharpener is and its role in making chocolate
• And most importantly: we create our own bean-to-bar chocolates with toppings selected by the Kids and Grandparents! It’s always the most fun! 🙂
• we decorate chocolates according to our own idea – every child’s 🙂
• we will also prepare very interesting chocolates with original chocolate floresy – according to the idea and invention of the participants
• we pack chocolates in a similar way to how DESEO packs them on a daily basis

What does each of our Participants get?

1. Samples of different types of chocolate to eat on site

2. in the case of a ticket for 2 people:
3 chocolate bars – the same as we produce at DESEO:
– 2 bars decorated with various inclusions (additions) – one is decorated by Grandma/Grandpa, the other is decorated by the Child
– 1 bar decorated with chocolate flores – fun together!

All chocolates will be professionally packaged – they can be a souvenir or a gift for loved ones

3. in the case of a ticket for 3 people:
4 chocolate bars – the same as we produce at DESEO:
– 2 bars decorated with various inclusions (additions) – children decorate their bars with the help of Grandma and Grandpa or share the
work- 2 bars decorated with chocolate flores

4. in the case of a ticket for 4 people:
6 chocolate bars – the same as we produce at DESEO:
– 4 bars decorated with various inclusions (additions) – two boards are decorated by children and two are decorated by guardians
– 2 bars decorated with chocolate flores – fun together!

All chocolates will be professionally packaged – they can be a souvenir or a gift for loved ones

Duration: 1.5 hours
Price:
– ticket for 2 people (child and Grandma / Grandpa): 185 PLN
– ticket for 3 people (child + Grandparents or two children and Grandpa / Grandma): 260 PLN
– ticket for 4 people (two children with Grandma and Grandpa): 320 PLN
Minimum age of participant: 3 years

*Note: the minimum group for a given date is 5 people, the maximum is 12 people.

* We reserve the right to cancel the workshop and propose another date if a group of at least 5 children in the case of DESEO Kids workshops and a minimum of 3 pairs Adult + Child in the case of DESEO Babies / Chocolate Workshops on the occasion of Grandmother’s and Grandfather’s Day does not gather for a given time.

Where does the chocolate workshop take place?

All chocolate workshops for children are held In our showroom at 3 Suwak Street in Warsaw’s Mokotow district .

This is where our Workshop is located, so in addition, children can see our confectioners at work through the glass. The restaurant on Suwak also has a rather travel-like character – you can see jute bags in which cocoa beans arrive (and coffees as well!), and the bar is located in a large container – just like products from India, Madagascar or the Dominican Republic arrive in Europe. But we will tell you about it during the workshops! 🙂
